Tooth Extractions

We always aim to save the tooth and prevent it from future infection. However in certain cases where a tooth maybe unrestorable or too loose to be saved, extraction may be required.

Reasons for a Tooth Extraction

Sometimes there is no other option but a tooth extraction. A tooth extraction is necessary when:

  • Decay has reached deep into the tooth.
  • Infection has destroyed a large portion of the tooth or surrounding bone.
  • To make room for teeth moved with orthodontic treatment.
